Fall Retreat at the Jamestown 4H Center - Nov. 13-15

Activities and Schedule
The retreat is divided into four sessions (Friday night, Saturday morning, Saturday night, and Sunday morning). Each session has worship with a band, a message, and an opportunity to talk with other youth about the topics in small groups. On Saturday afternoon, there is lots of free time and youth will have the opportunity to go kayaking, do a low ropes course, play games, or just hang out! On Saturday night we will have a bonfire (weather permitting), and we close out the retreat with Communion on Sunday morning.
Friday 6-8pm - Youth Arrive
Friday 8pm - Evening Worship Session
Sunday 9am - Morning Worship Session
Saturday 7pm - Evening Worship Session
Sunday 9am - Morning Worship Session (with Communion)
Sunday Noon - Youth Depart
Facilities
Located on the James River in James City County, the camp is a beautiful location with lots to do. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and the youth stay in heated cabins with bunk beds. Go to www.jamestown4hcenter.org for more information.
Cost
The cost to register for this retreat is $90. Kayaking and the low ropes course are both $5 extra, but all other costs are included. Checks can be made out to "York River District (UMC)" and can be either brought to the retreat or sent to the District Office at the following address:

Registration - by October 26!
Registration this year will be done online. There are two steps to register for the retreat...
First: Tell us that you are coming! If you know that your church is planning to attend please go ahead and register now (but no later than October 26) , and you can give us a specific head count later. Fill out the form at the link below

Second: After you register you will receive an email with an empty roster spreadsheet. Please fill it out with the names of your participants by November 9th. All participants will also need a medical release form - you can download it here.
Packing List
- Bible
- Sleeping bag or sheets and blanket for a twin mattress
- Water bottle with your name on it
- Tennis shoes and an extra pair of shoes
- Warm clothes
- Personal bathroom items
- Towel
- Flashlight
- Pillow
- Optional: $5 for kayaking or the low ropes course
